[The Netherlands](https://richwoman.co/article/the-netherlands-claims-six-of-the-world-s-top-11-cities-for-quality-of-life-in-2026) sits first in Numbeo's 2026 Mid-Year index, Switzerland fifth, and Oman is tied for third with Denmark, ahead of the United Kingdom, France and Ireland. These are three countries with three of the highest quality of life scores on earth, and getting into each one costs something completely different.
